Grain Free Avocado Chocolate Cookies
By Crystal Cerrato
Get ready to meet your new favorite indulgence: these Grain-Free Avocado Chocolate Cookies are rich, fudgy, and deliciously moist—with zero compromise on flavor. Made with creamy avocado for a buttery texture and loaded with deep chocolatey goodness, they taste like a decadent dessert but come with a feel-good, nutrient-packed twist. One bite and you'll be hooked—no grains, no guilt, just pure chocolate bliss.
You’ll need:
1 Large Ripe Avocado (or 2 small ones)
1 Ripe Banana
2 Eggs
Optional: Splash of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Organic Cane Sugar (feel free to sub it out with Coconut Sugar)
3/4 Cup Cacao Powder
1 Scoop Protein Powder (I like Lineage Chocolate for this recipe. I’m not affiliated, just a big fan of their clean ingredients.)
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Cup chocolate chips
Sprinkle of Salt
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Using a blender, blend avocado, banana, vanilla, and egg until smooth. If needed, use a splash of milk of choice to get a thick smoothie like consistency.
- Pour batter into a large bowl, and mix in the dry ingredients to form a dough. Reserve some of the chocolate chips to sprinkle on top.
- Spoon dough into evenly sized balls onto a baking sheet and carefully flatten into cookie shape, as they won’t flatten very much during the baking process. Lightly sprinkle each cookie with salt (optional).
- Bake for 10-12 minutes and then allow to cool all the way. They will have a slightly sticky and fudgy in texture, hence storing on the parchment paper in my photo! Enjoy.
